  • phab.bots.miraheze.wiki -> phab.mirahezebots.org
  • icinga.bots.miraheze.wiki -> icinga.mirahezebots.org
  • phabdigests.bots.miraheze.wiki -> phabdigests.mirahezebots.org
  • sopel.bots.miraheze.wiki -> sopel.mirahezebots.org
  • phab-storage.bots.miraheze.wiki -> phab-storage.mirahezebots.org
  • bots.miraheze.org can use wiki.mirahezebots.org as a custom domain (https://phabricator.miraheze.org/T6816)
  • tools1.miraheze.wiki -> tools1.mirahezebots.org
  • bots1.miraheze.wiki -> bots1.mirahezebots.org
  • db1.miraheze.wiki -> db1.mirahezebots.org

the changes shouldn't be too hard to do, as it just involves changing config and dns

The main thing to consider is logging behind the CDN. Apache is an easy change but Phabricator maybe not. We can probably decom support as unused.

👍 This will be good to do for the future, I think. +1 to all of those suggestions, and we can retain the existing subdomains as CNAME redirects or web forwarding pointers, as applicable, to the new addresses

Caching and the proxy are different but we can turn either/or off.

We hopefully will have CNAME support soon if I've asked all the right people.

We can add new DNS but in the interest of keeping old URLS working. Anything that needs an SSL certificate and is proxied will have to wait.

Phab storage should be failed over to be behind the CDN as the CDN has a huge performance impact.

So only step left here is to fail the DNS over which is blocked on CF Sponshorships replying which could take a week.

Can we look at an Apache rewrite for phab-static old -> phab-static new?
